ISPA: International Stationery Publisher Association – a non-lucrative association was created in 1978 from the ideas of three publishers. These last found interesting to meet together once a year in order to exchange some ideas about their independent business and also to get closer to be better informed.

Today, the ISPA represents 21 members all around the world, each of them are running a monthly or bi-monthly magazine of the stationery and office product industry on their national market.

ISPA AWARDS, to support innovation

Since 1993, ISPA has organised an international award in order to support innovative products. Thanks to its worldwide presence, each publisher offers this unique opportunity to ISPA winners to take advantage of a world editorial coverage in 21 ISPA publications on the 5 continents.

In order to build a very independent contest, It was so decided that this contest will be opened freely to any product of the stationery and office products industry.

Independence and expertise

A jury composed of the editors in chief of the 21 magazine members of ISPA choose each year among hundreds of products which will be the winner.

This «one-of-a-kind» event happens once a year during Paperworld – Frankfurt every January.

Because the participation is free, the ISPA & Innovation Awards is the unique prize offered to the industry together by independent and expert players. Thanks to that reference, buyers, importers and traders always keep a sharpeye on the products rewarded on this occasion.

The notation criteria are:

• Innovation
• Quality
• Price
• Presentation
• Environment responsibility

Each of the editors in chief must give a score out of 100 points. After collecting all the marks, the winner is the one who collects the better score.
